Alright. Matthew is a normally sweet and caring guy. He will bend over backwards and give you the shirt off of his back if it got a smile out of you. He tries to be friendly with everyone, but of course that can come with mixed reactions though that never really seems to stop him. He is the joker of the group. Though that is true, Matthew knows when it’s time to play and when it’s not. He can turn off the silliness in a matter of seconds and become very serious if the situation calls for that. He is sweet natured and quite protective over the people he cares about. He hates to see people hurt and tries his hardest to make people feel better even if it means putting off his own problems. Matthew is the problem solver and will do whatever he can to ensure that you’re problems are fixed. Matthew is the sensitive one. He seems innocent and most of the time, he is. He cares about the people who are closest to him, the ones who take the time to get to know him and he can become quite protective over them in an instant. Matty is sometimes quite insecure about being a servant and can become quite submissive if he feels threatened, most of the time however, he will fight back. If you ask him for a straight up opinion, Matthew will be quite blunt about whatever it is you asked. He is not always the sugar coating kind of guy, Matty is quite honest with anyone who wants the truth.

matthew aleksandr cabrera was born on january 19th to the parents of lucas and katy cabrera. they had always been accepting people but for some reason, katy had not been able to handle it when her baby boy was born with the God-forsaken mark of the servant, a small "S" on the inside of his wrist. just weeks after her young son was born, katy left home. lucas, only twenty one at the time, was distraught. he had a young son to take care of and the love of his life was missing, just gone without a trace. he had trouble searching for her and caring for his son at the time, so he left the infant with his brother, david and took off to find his wife. david was only twenty four, a bachelor, and had no idea how to take care of an infant but, he did his best because it was his nephew.
several weeks went by without a word from lucas and david became worried about his little brother. weeks turned into months and finally turned into five years. young matthew had blossomed into a bouncing five year old by the name of matty. he was confused when lucas came stumbling back into his life, katy nowhere to be found. it took a few weeks but matty finally accepted lucas as his father. so, that was how it was for the next ten years of young matty's life. he lived with his father and uncle who loved him dearly, despite the fact that he was a servant. he was afraid of getting a master and they tried their best to assure him that things would go okay, but matty really didn't believe them. he wanted to, but he just couldn't.
after a while, the pressure got to be too much for him and he just took off, just ran away, living on streets and crashing in people's houses whenever possible. it wasn't the best life but it was better than living around people who kept trying to reassure him that being a servant was going to be a good thing. the streets had been his home for the past few years before he was finally tracked down and assigned his first master.
